E-mail Newsletters + Professional Copywriting = Effective Low-Cost Marketing

It’s a fact that e-mail newsletters can play a major role in online marketing. Most businesses that approach us about websites are usually looking to implement a monthly newsletter as part of their overall marketing strategy. Pagoda Media started offering e-mail newsletter systems earlier this year in an effort to help our clients promote themselves with e-mail newsletters. We found that the e-mail newsletter system was not the hurdle… it was gathering the content and writing a decent newsletter that halted most business from sending out regular newsletters. Pagoda Media saw this and has now created “packages” that make it extremely easy to send newsletters. We handle the newsletters setup and we have our copywriter develop a professional sounding newsletter on a monthly basis. All you have to do is send us ideas and articles to feature in your newsletter and we take care of the rest. Want to learn more? Contact our creative director Bryan Mull for more information.

New Pagoda Media Portfolio for 2008

As Pagoda Media builds our print design portfolio, an actual printed portfolio book was greatly needed. Many of the prospects we encounter want to see real examples of design work and until this point, Pagoda Media never had a formal portfolio besides our website. Our team dug into the archives of our design for the last seven years and pulled the best of the best. We put together a 20-page portfolio that shows Pagoda Media’s premier graphic design work. We are also in the process of building a larger portfolio to house all our print design work which will eventually serve as an archive for design project samples. We are eager to show off our new portfolio and if anyone would like a showing, we would be gald to stop by and show you are work. Pagoda Media is convinced that we are the best graphic design team on the East Coast and building our print portfolio is another step to becoming the best. In addition to our print portfolio, Pagoda Media will be updating our website for 2008.

New Website - Parcon Express Freight

www.parconexpressfreight.com

Every small business needs a website. But, contrary to popular opinion, not all websites need to have hundreds of pages to be effective.

Take Parcon Express Freight for example. They provide warehousing and trucking throughout the East Coast and needed a basic web presence to stay up to speed with modern day communication.

Parcon Express Freight turned to Pagoda Media to create a website that was basic, yet met all the needs of the company. The solution? A well designed microsite.

A simple, one-page site clearly gets the message across if properly designed. In fact, single page websites rank very well within search engines. Parcon Express Freight is our latest case study, using a basic web presence to attract new customers nationwide.

Notable Projects from 2007

In January of 2006, Pagoda Media designed and developed a large directory website for Philadelphia House & Home Magazine.

Shortly thereafter Pagoda Media received national attention for a beer packaging design created for Legacy Brewing. A Lancaster county beer distributor though the artwork was "too risque" and began to cover the cases with brown paper. The rest is history. After the Legacy press, our team was really fired up.

The next project to hit the plate was for Bell Tower Salon & Spa. Pagoda Media started this project by producing a photo shoot that is comparable to NY fashion photography. These images are now used throughout Bell Tower's billboard campaign. If you visit The Bell Tower Store located on State Hill Rd, you can acquire a catalog of salon services designed and printed by Pagoda Media. Click here for a sample PDF.

We wrapped up the 3rd quarter by launching our first large scale e-commerce storefront for stylish shelving manufacturer, Amore Designs. You can check the site by visiting www.amoredesigns.com.

During the same time, Pagoda Media redesigned the homepage of our flim festival partner, Haydenfilms. Pagoda Media is currently redesigning the Haydenfilms website and creating a branded, stand-alone Flash player to feature independent films.

Last, but certainly not least is Reading Premium. This local legendary beer is making resurgence and Pagoda Media is proud to be helping with promotion by managing their website, www.readingbeer.com. Reading Brewing is taking Berks County by storm!
